The Dark Star from Old Blood Noise Endeavors is a lo-fi, experimental reverb designed for evolving soundscapes, ambient washes, and unconventional textures. Built around a rich reverb engine with extensive pitch, filter, and degradation controls, Dark Star excels at slow attacks, swelling pads, and atmospheric layers that feel alive and expressive.

Two independent pitch shifters, adjustable from –2 to +2 octaves, interact with delay, feedback, filtering, and distortion-style degradation to create rising drones, falling echoes, warped reflections, and unstable ambient motion. It’s equally at home early in your signal chain for synth-like transformations or at the end for massive, cinematic trails.

With stereo I/O, presets, expression control, and full MIDI control, Dark Star is built for modern pedalboards and studio environments alike.
