The Thorpy FX Deep Oggin was designed as a collaboration with Dan Coggins (Former LOVETONE Pedal designer) as his first modulation pedal design since his Lovetone pedal days. This fully Analog Chorus/Vibrato was designed from the ground up to provide the most incredible 3 dimensional chorus sounds with a level of versatility to meet the needs of all guitarists. Faced with hundreds of digital choruses on the market, Thorpy and Dan decided to go fully analog and deliver that vintage chorus that can only come from an analog circuit. The Deep Oggin is voiced to provide a variety of chorus styles from deep and wet through to more subtle and shimmery sounds.

The Volume knob is at unity volume when fully counter-clockwise, meaning that there is sufficient boost and volume available to be added to counteract the inevitable volume drop when the chorus is engaged.

The Treble knob means you can tune the chorus in to your own personal preference of dark to bright tones and the Blend knob has takes your signal from fully dry to fully wet. The three combined with the standard Depth and Rate controls mean this is the one of the most powerful, versatile analogue Chorus pedals out there.

For stereo pedal enthusiasts, they will be pleased to know that the DEEP OGGIN has both dry and wet outputs. This pedal allows you to deliver an almost unlimited tonal palette no matter what your mood/style or guitar and amp setup.

External enclosure made from powder-coated steel wraparound and a stainless steel laser cut centre piece. Internally the pedal is immaculately built using premium 1% metal film resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks and Burr-Brown Op-amps as well as NOS BBD chips. Coupled with a robust gold-plated PCB and dust-sealed Alpha potentiometers. A mechanical foot switch is used to turn the pedal on and is powered using a 9V centre-negative power supply.
